After gaining substantial experience a person can run his/her own laboratory & health care centers.

There is also an option of higher studies, upon completion of B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) course, a person can go for a master’s degree courses to gain the academic knowledge in research & to increase job opportunities.

Major employment areas are-Biotechnology Research Laboratory (Tissue Culture), Blood Donor Centers, Colleges & Universities, Hospitals, Military Services, etc.
